Inhouse Testing Facilities
A well documented Quality System helps us to control all activities & processes.
Quality Assurance starts with selection of better & clean materials/scrap, processing the same if needed & goes through diligent processing of casting even through minor process like riser cutting . This takes important position for materials like Duplex / Super Duplex and High Nickel alloys.
We have the advantage of having all testing facilities in house like -
- Online Spectro including testing of Nitrogen.
- Mechanical test including hardness by Brinell as well as by Portable Digital Hardness Tester.
- Impact test at Room Temperatures & Sub Zero Temperatures (0° C to -196° C).
- Corrosion test as per ASTM A262 method A,B,C, & E ,
as per A 923 method A & B
and as per G-28 method A
- Pitting corrosion test as per ASTM G48 method A & ASTM A 923 method C.
- Crevice pitting corrosion test as per ASTM A G48 method B
- Critical pitting corrosion test as per ASTM G48 method E & method C.
- Microstructure for Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Duplex / Super Duplex Stainless Steel.
- Sigma ,Chi and Laves phase determination.
- Ferrite measurement by Point Count method as per ASTM E 562 and also by Ferritoscope.
- Radioactive contamination detection.
- Sulphide Stress Corrosion Cracking (SSCC) test as per NACE-TM-0177 & Hydrogen Induced cracking Test (HIC Test) as per NACE-TM-0284 for Carbon Steel (Presently from outside lab.)
- Sulphide stress corrosion cracking (SSCC) test for Duplex & Super Duplex Stainless Steel as per NACE-MF-0177 at 24° C, 90° C (Presently from outside lab.)
- Sulphide stress corrosion cracking (SSCC) test for CU5McuC (Incoloy 825) grade as per NACE-MF-0177 at 24° C, 90° C, 120° C etc. (Presently from outside lab.)
